Flux Family Secrets: The Ripple Effect is a puzzle game developed by Skunk Studios. The game features a rather strange background story. Jesse was contacted by the Flux Family, asking her to help retrieve historical artifacts in exchange for knowledge about her family. You will visit several locations (some of them are historical as you are travelling through time) in search for these artifacts. Basically you are presented with rooms, theaters and such and you must find pieces or items in these rooms. This is easier said than done, because they are cleverly hidden and it a keen eye is required to spot them. Once you find the items, they may just be a piece to solve an even larger puzzle. The game also includes several mini-games such as a picture slide and image matching. In the end, you will travel through 10 different time periods in search for clues. Although the type of the game-play and even the story have been seen before, the game still delivers a good amount of entertainment. It is a very well done adventure/puzzle game. |
